LureGo SAFETY NETWORK
LureGo Safety Service Agreement
This supplements the LureGo Terms of Use and explains how Safety operates and the boundaries of responsibility.
Effective date
30 September 2026
Version
2.2
01
Current feature status
Safety provides water-incident events, location matching, notifications and response entry points, requiring a network, account and relevant authorization. Enabling a setting does not mean a request was delivered; rely on actual app/service state. The emergency-contact entry was removed, but historical local information may still appear.
02
Not professional emergency rescue
Safety provides limited safety information and voluntary mutual-help entry points. It is not police dispatch, fire rescue, emergency medicine, maritime search/rescue, mountain rescue or any other professional emergency service.
LureGo cannot guarantee that requests will be seen, received, answered or successfully handled. For real, imminent danger to a person, prioritize local police, fire, ambulance, maritime, site/fishing-ground management or other professional services, and take reasonable measures only while protecting your own safety.
03
Enabling and disabling
Authorized recipients may see precise requester locations before participating. Nearby help guarantees no response and does not replace professional rescue. You may decline authorization and retain unrelated basics.
You choose whether to enable Safety, nearby alerts and participation. Nearby Safety requires separate acceptance of its agreement. Location, notifications and health are separately authorized in system dialogs and revocable in settings. Alerts need notification permission and valid device registration; matching needs location permission. Manage disabling alerts, leaving events and revoking permissions separately. Offline server deactivation may be delayed. Refusal does not affect unrelated features.
04
Network rules
Round one immediately pushes to eligible users whose location in the last 12 hours was within 3 km. After 30 seconds, if at most one responder is going/has arrived, round two uses the last 24 hours and 5 km. Location accuracy must be within 100 m. Networks, systems and devices affect push; delivery and responses are not guaranteed.
During an active event, authorized recipients can see the requester’s precise location before participating. Participant locations are uploaded to show relative direction, distance, status and update time to authorized viewers, potentially exposing whereabouts. See the Safety privacy notice. Authorized foreground/background location may update continuously; no fixed interval is promised.
In danger, prioritize professional emergency services; the Chinese policy refers to 119/120. The app only opens the system dialer for your confirmation, not calls on your behalf. Safety retains only the latest location, overwritten on update. Events and related push/responses remain for 90 days after closure, then automatically delete; account deletion removes them immediately. Backups cover only the last 14 days, with deleted account data removed within 15 days. See the main privacy policy for account deletion.
These periods cover business data/backups; statutory retention and temporary deletion limits follow the main policy. Disabling alerts is not ending a request or leaving participation. Offline withdrawal may require later sync; check events and permissions. Professional emergency calls do not depend on enabling nearby help.
05
User rules
You must not use Safety to:
• Make false requests, maliciously trigger alerts or intentionally provide false locations;
• Impersonate, harass, follow, monitor or threaten others;
• Unlawfully save, publish or distribute others’ locations, routes, contacts or help content;
• Induce unqualified people to enter deep water, fast currents, cliffs or other danger;
• Use safety information for marketing, advertising, profiling or unrelated purposes;
• Violate laws, others’ rights or public safety.
06
Voluntary participation
Whether others view/respond is entirely their decision based on distance, environment, ability and safety. Receiving an alert imposes no obligation to attend, rescue, advance expenses or act beyond ability.
Responders must prioritize their own safety and may contact the requester/professionals, provide information or help reasonably when safe. No one may demand obviously dangerous or unqualified rescue.
07
Informed risk, independent decisions and responsibility
Safety is voluntary information exchange between anglers, not professional rescue. You are not obliged to participate, attend or rescue.
Participation may involve driving, walking, night, water, mountains and severe weather. Independently assess ability, equipment and conditions. Do not enter water, climb, enter restricted areas or exceed your abilities. Contact professionals first in urgent danger.
Platform role
LureGo supplies technical services for request transmission, location display, status sync and voluntary response. Responders are not LureGo employees, agents, commissioned rescuers or duty personnel. LureGo does not assign, command or force anyone to attend, and participation alone creates no employment, agency, contracting, partnership or professional-rescue relationship.
Maps, distances, routes, locations and arrival estimates are references, not safety guarantees or professional instructions.
Response is entirely voluntary
You may decline, cancel or leave without penalty. Stop when conditions are dangerous, ability/equipment inadequate or other reasonable grounds arise. You may limit help to calls or remote information; there is no duty to attend, enter danger, pay expenses or succeed.
Independent safety assessment
Before participating, assess physical condition, first-aid/outdoor ability, lifesaving/communication equipment, weather, currents, depth, tides, terrain, visibility, travel, conflicts and location error. Do not attend or help onsite without suitable ability, equipment and safe conditions.
• Do not use your phone while driving, break traffic rules or travel dangerously;
• Do not enter water, climb or enter deep water, rapids, surf, cliffs, closed/restricted waters or other obvious danger;
• Do not take risks in thunderstorms, typhoons, floods, flash floods, large waves or other severe conditions;
• Do not perform medical/rescue or other high-risk operations beyond your expertise;
• Do not confront aggressive, intoxicated or emotionally uncontrolled people.
Independent actions and third-party causes
Liability for harm from independent attendance, ignoring warnings, unauthorized entry into danger or actions beyond ability is determined lawfully by conduct, duties, fault and causation. Voluntary participation does not remove the platform’s statutory responsibilities or waive users’ lawful compensation rights.
Harm from requesters’, responders’ or third parties’ falsehoods, concealment, misleading/unlawful/infringing acts, or natural conditions, location errors, outages or device failures beyond reasonable control, is allocated under law according to fault and causation. Learning of a request through LureGo alone does not automatically make LureGo liable for the requester’s/respondent’s injury.
Statutory platform responsibility
This agreement does not exclude/limit non-excludable liability. LureGo is legally responsible for harm caused by its own fault or breach of reasonable technical safeguards, risk notices, privacy or other statutory duties. For personal injury, intent/gross negligence is not the sole basis of liability; property loss caused by intent/gross negligence cannot be disclaimed. Limits on delivery, response or rescue success do not remove these duties.
Responsibility and compensation during help
Voluntary emergency rescuers enjoy applicable statutory civil-liability exemptions for resulting harm to recipients. Someone harmed while protecting others’ rights may claim against the infringer; where no infringer exists, has fled or cannot pay, qualifying requests may entitle appropriate compensation from beneficiaries. These rules do not exempt every act or harm to third parties and do not mean LureGo provides rescue insurance. Safety does not change statutory rights/duties.
Priority when danger is found
If conditions exceed your ability, stop dangerous actions, withdraw to safety and prioritize local police, fire, medical, maritime, site management or other professionals. Switch to remote help/information and update or cancel your response in LureGo.
08
Technical limitations
Water, mountains, severe weather, weak networks, shutdown/low battery, background limits, permission changes and disconnected Watch/iPhone may cause location errors, delays, interruptions or unavailability. Maps, online status and notices are not absolutely accurate.
We take reasonable lawful measures for stability but do not guarantee successful/timely delivery, a response or attendance, or absolute accuracy, stability or expected outcomes for location, routes, times, third parties or any help event. Liability follows law, actual fault and causation.
09
Personal-information protection
Read the Safety Privacy Notice and main Privacy Policy for information scope, purposes, retention, sharing and rights.
Before sensitive processing such as precise location/routes, we explain necessity and possible effects and obtain legally applicable authorization.
10
Use by minors
Under-14 information is sensitive; children must not independently enable location sharing or the real Safety network. Guardians must first contact support@luretrack.com, read special rules/notices and give lawful consent. Ordinary checkboxes/system permission do not replace guardian consent. Without verified valid consent, related processing must not start. We stop and take necessary measures, including deletion, if children’s data was processed without valid consent. Ages 14–17 require guardian guidance and must not attend dangerous sites alone or take tasks beyond their age/ability.
11
Service and agreement updates
This update clarifies precise-location viewers, withdrawal/deletion and statutory liability boundaries. Webpage visits are not consent, and a webpage version does not replace actual app confirmation. Changes to purpose, method or information categories require renewed consent before processing, as do other legally applicable cases. New processing must not start without necessary valid consent.
We may update this agreement as Safety changes. Material changes are prominently announced in-app, online or otherwise. Where renewed consent is required, related functions are enabled only after valid new consent.
